Meet Our Herd
There are 12 horses on the coastal property- quarter horses, standardbreds & thoroughbreds. Lil’ girl is a gorgeous quarter horse, calm and especially careful, Ella an attractive mare who is a very nice hack for the experienced, and Harvey a stunning red bay standard bred, just to name a few. Stay in our Glamping sanctuary or farmstay cabin if you want to get to know them even better!
Brave Heart (Brave)
Dark buckskin- Northland bred, 15hh Our guide horse. Fun expressive horse.
Ella
Gorgeous Bay mare- Thoroughbred 15.3hh
Started life playing Polo, lovely elevated paces, pleasure hack.
Steve
Chestnut Gelding - Thoroughbred 16hh. A true gentleman and enjoyable trail horse.
Blue Gum 'BG-blue'
Grey – Quarter horse/Stationbred 14.3hh
An older remarkably responsive pony with lovely paces, show jumped competitively 115cm. Holds national pony club games records.
Dainty lil Girl 'Girl'
Chestnut flaxin mane – American Quarter horse 14hh
Western pleasure horse, very responsive and quiet pony great for kids.
(a big favourite!)
Flash
15hh Standard bred gelding, he loves to swim! and is a great all round trail horse.
Siara Northern Belle (Siara)
Siara is Belles daughter. She is super friendly, learning ES foundation training.
Merlin
Grey- Percheron/shire cross 15.1hh Merlin is very cruisey! He is a great confidence booster for beginners.
Rhiarmis Southern Belle (Belle)
Chestnut - American Quarter horse 15hh
Pleasure riding horse & fabulous mum.
Lotte
Wild Lotte- Our youngest horse, rescued from the wild in the far North, est. 14.1hh. Sweet girl with alot of character! Currently making friends & happily adapting to her new life at Sandy bay training with Kiley.
Dora
Dora- Grey mare 13.2hh, welsh mountain X. Super talented pony! Learning ESI training with Kiley to improve her riding horse journey.
Harvey
Harvey- Aka 'Kings Landing', 15.2hh Red Bay Gelding, extremely successful harness racing career (bit of a super star!). Stunning nature and huge potential in his new career as a ridden horse.
