Check out the amazing Tutukaka Coast area, some of the best beaches in NZ right on your doorstep, Whale Bay & Matapouri Bay, the famous Poor Knight Islands marine reserve also a must see for snorkelling and diving. Horse Riding Lessons & Guided HorseTreks
​Our Sandy Bay accommodation is located right on the famous Te Araroa Route (Great New Zealand Walk).

In addition to our accommodation, we offer horse riding lessons and treks. You can book one of our unique horse treks, like the beginners Native Tuna Trail where you can view and learn about endemic long fin eels, or swim your horse in the ocean, or take some lessons. ​​

Relax and immerse yourself in nature, explore the coast on horseback, or take a lesson with a qualified Equitation Science coach. The choice is yours.​​​
